Cancellation Policy

Effective date: 30 September 2026

This Cancellation Policy explains how to cancel your True Library subscription and what happens after you cancel. Please read it together with our Terms & Conditions and Refund Policy.

1. How to cancel

You can cancel anytime, without giving a reason:

  1. Sign in to https://app.truelibrary.in as the Library Owner.
  2. Open Billing.
  3. Click Cancel auto-renewal and confirm.

The Billing page shows the change right away, and we email you a confirmation. If you cannot sign in, email us from your registered email address and we will cancel for you, usually within 1 working day.

2. What happens to automatic renewal

  • Cancelling turns off automatic renewal. No further payments are taken, and your auto-pay mandate with Razorpay ends with your current period.
  • If you had scheduled a change to another plan, that change is cancelled too.
  • Additional branches stop renewing along with your plan.
  • You can also cancel the auto-pay mandate from your UPI app or bank. We still recommend cancelling in True Library too, so that your Billing page shows the correct status.

3. Access after cancelling

  • During a free trial: you are not charged for the plan, and you can keep using the Service until the trial ends.
  • During a paid period: you keep full access until the end of the period you have paid for. The Billing page shows this date.
  • After access ends: your account becomes read-only. You can still sign in and view your data and invoices, but you cannot add or change records. Your data is not deleted.
  • Coming back: you can subscribe again anytime from the Billing page. Your new subscription starts on the day you pay. The free trial cannot be used again.

Cancelling does not give a refund for the current period, except in the cases listed in our Refund Policy.

4. Deleting your account

Cancelling a subscription does not delete your account. To delete your account and its data permanently:

  1. Open Settings → Account.
  2. Choose Delete account permanently and confirm.

This stops all payments and signs you out on every device. Your account is permanently deleted after 7 days. If you sign in during those 7 days, the deletion is cancelled. Payment and invoice records are kept for as long as the law requires. More details: Delete your account.

5. Subscriptions bought through an app store

If you subscribed through Google Play, cancel the subscription in the Google Play Store app under Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for.

6. Cancellation by True Library

We may suspend or cancel an account that breaks our Terms & Conditions, is not paid for, or is used unlawfully. We will give notice where reasonably possible. If we close an account for a reason that is not a breach of our Terms, we refund the unused part of the current paid period.
